NATICA BLAKE, MS LPCA
I am a licensed professional counselor associate and I have several years of experience working in residential, outpatient and in-home settings serving children, adults, families, and individuals with mental health/substance use. I utilize different evidence-based treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, and MDFT. I'm very passionate about advocating for diversity awareness, working within LGBTQ+ spaces, cultural sensitivity, and social justice issues. Out of sessions, I enjoy spending my free time traveling, painting, and reading. My hope is to create a supportive, safe, and respectful environment in which people can grow, change, and be their best selves.
SANDRA BROWN, LPCA, EDS, ORDAINED MINISTER
I currently work with children who struggle with social/emotional problems in a school setting, as well as adolescents and adults who struggle with feelings of depression and anxiety, self-esteem, identity crisis, building healthy relationships, substance use, addiction, and PTSD. My approach is colorful, interactive, warm and accepting, utilizing a variety of techniques, including, but not limited: CBT, DBT, stress management, increasing self-worth, inner child work, mood management, mindfulness, work/life balance, and empowerment. I believe in incorporating self care daily. Spending time with my family, decorating, watching HGTV, praying, reading, and meditating helps me to breath and reset. My favorite scripture also reminds me to brain dump, “Cast all your cares on Me because I care for you, 1 Peter 5:7.”
TODD ESPERANCE, MS, LPCA
(HE, HIM, HIS)
I am a licensed professional counselor associate with a graduate degree from the University of Bridgeport. My clinical practice consists primarily of cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I have experience working with adults, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, the elderly, families, groups, LGBTQ+, men, panic attacks, psychosis, substance abuse, and women. Each individual on Earth has a vast human experience and deserves to be heard. I seek to open the space for you to be fully received. My current read is Under Saturn's Shadow and I’m the handler to a six-year-old black Labrador named, Luna, whose energy restores me each and every day.
I have always loved the world of psychology, including research and wanted to be able to contribute in a way that directly mitigates treatment disparities within mental health. I grew up watching a lot of people in my neighborhood struggle with mental health and not know about available resources or didn't trust the help of a medical professional and I wanted to help rebuild that trust. I have worked in residential, hospital, and private practice. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults with anxiety/depression and clinical research. I am a strong advocate for wellness and self care and I demonstrate it in my own life with extensive skincare routines, deepening my yoga practice, eating and trying delicious foods, and taking many idea walks/trips.
